Job Description:
Roles & responsibilities:
Assist the medical team with secretarial and administrative tasks, and where necessary, help with CBD prioritization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Whenever necessary, arranges departmental committee meetings, including calling attendees, securing a location, assigning an agenda, recording and transcribing minutes, ordering refreshments as needed, etc. controls and plans the processes for granting privileges and credentials to all community and full-time physicians. captures the meeting's minutes. helps with the re-privilege process by keeping track of the full-time, community, and part-time physicians' expiration dates. oversees and keeps track of the completion of life support and required education programs by community and full-time physicians. keeps track on community doctors' malpractice insurance expiration dates, follows up on them, and helps with the renewal process as needed. provides frequent updates to the office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guarantee the continuation of their insurance coverage. Helps doctors with internal continuing medical education (CME) or educational activities like lectures on medicine, etc.; when necessary, also helps them get CME credit points for lectures from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Apply, update, and keep track of community physicians' part-time licenses. Maintain a record of the CME/Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for physicians who work full-time, track them, and make sure they are submitted on time to renew their licenses. Handle the doctor's request for new privileges and notify the appropriate departments about the addition or removal of privileges. helps the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office with duties related to Joint Commission International (JCI) and accreditation. submitting the paperwork (logbooks, CME certifications, and certificates from Medical Malpractice Insurance (MMI)) licenses, reappointments, etc.) and performing ad hoc duties as required. 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 
Certificate in Medical Secretarial Studies, or a related program. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ability. Minimum typing speed of 50–60 wpm. talent for typing audio files. Highly precise communicator with outstanding abilities in communication. decides what tasks to prioritize and completes correspondence quickly. takes the initiative on his own and offers ideas to enhance the services. recognizes and comprehends the department's goals.
